If they don't come with an ID tag, it's unlikely you'll ever get an ID on it. I don't know how they are made, but in my experience with minis they stay small. I ASSume that they are hybrids that are crossed to be genetically small plants - just like any other animal or plant.

Just like any living thing. Unless there some sort of damage like bugs or cold, the genetics dictate their future. In robust health they might be a little bigger and produce more flowers. But there are no tricks to make a small orchid big or visa versa. Google a description of your orchid and add the word image. A long shot at best...
