OK so my question may be stupid but here's the situation.

I am building a 2x28' raised garden bed. I asked for 1x6 and 2x4 cedar. I got home at saw that the 2x4 says spf on it so I know it's pine. Didn't think much more of it. Well tonight it hit me that it's all pine, and when I got the wood they cut it for me and the kid took my receipt.

So now I have a bunch of pine boards I probably can't return.

My question is will my box hold up at all if I use the 1x6 untreated pine boards. We were going to stain the outside section
