My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Drawing ideas

When working on ideas for renovations I photograph the area then import the photo into SketchUp Make. Then I draw over the photo to show the changes I plan. With SketchUp Make you can use the palette to show new furnishings, flooring, paint, wood, glass, brick, stone, tile, plaster and more. You can use other CAD (computer aided design) programs.
