My Poulsen Roser A / S minis

Although I have miniature roses obtained from online nurseries, minis by Poulsen Roser, easily found in super markets, are some of my favorites. Feel free to add your own supermarket favorites.

Here is Gigi:

I've had Gigi for a few years now. It loves to bloom. I can't quite capture the beautiful deep red color.

Here is Lamy:

My first Lamy was killed by frost, but my second purchase is doing fine. Hopefully it is well established by next winter. I love the lavender color.

I believe this is Cecile:

I wasn't happy with how the blooms aged, so I gave it away. All my other miniature roses have blooms that last an incredibly long time, so I'm spoiled.

This is its replacement, possibly Renata? I hope so, because Renata is known to have lasting blooms. I'm waiting for it to get larger, before I plant it in the ground.

Some of the blooms on my Gigi had a fragrance. I couldn't tell you what it was. Delicate and I love it :) Here's my possible Cecile :D

I peeled the damaged petals off my peach Trader Joe rose (possibly a Cecile too?) and it looks a lot better. Even opened up a bit. :) I'll post a picture when I get home :) Does your Gigi have a smell? I love the way mine smells :D I wish I could find a Lamy it's beautiful!

Funny, I don't remember the smell of Gigi, but my plant is in the ground and I'm sure I didn't stoop that low very often to take a sniff. It is full of buds now that are not yet open. I'll make sure to smell them when they do. I hope your "possibly Cecile" matures into a nice plant.
