I found my way back ..... it sure looks sad to see it so empty . It used to be a lively place ! You sure have a big project planned .... it sounds like you've got it right . I always HATED the plates with the different heights ! ---- Of course,when I look at mine I see all the height differences , I look at someone else's --- it always looks perfect ! I think crafty people have mostly moved on to social media. Message boards in general are all slower than they used to be. I'm not so much into social media, I preferred this style of exchange a lot more.

I made my first mosaic last month using tile from kitchen and bathroom in my 1947 house. The tiles are uneven thickness. My goal was to get'er done, because the idea had been nagging me for a couple of years. I am enchanted with the outcome, even though some would say it has several imperfections. So do I!
