Anything is possible, but the window will not have the same light and the colors in the glass will look different.

Is there a reason you can't replace with a new window which fits the space you want to fill?

This is a rookie mistake in kitchen design I always start with the cabinet under the sink centered unless I am not putting the sink under the window and stained glass will cut out any light you were getting before. Post a couple of pics maybe we can come up with a solution

We are no rookies; we bought this house as a foreclosure. The original kitchen in the center of the house is 1954 pine cabinets. I am moving the new kitchen to the original dining space. I don't have any way to get a picture right now, but the problem is that the window is only 17" from the corner, so putting the sink under the window would mean it would be awkwardly placed jutting into the run of cabinets making the long side of the ell run. You couldn't stand in front of the sink because it you'd be bumping into and leaning over the side run of cabinetry. The window is only 30" wide, and on the other side of its wall is a garage that was added on. I'm still working on the design, so I'll have my husband check whether he can cut a larger window, or whether he would hit the end wall on the garage side.

Thank you both Judy and Patricia! My husband just looked it over and said he will easily be able to move the window over several inches, which will be perfect. There is about 2' of space on the garage wall before its corner, so plenty of room to move it over! Dilemma deleted! Eventually he will store his restored '46 pickup in that garage stall, and a triple width window on the exterior wall which gives a view to the firepit, so it will be an ok view. Otherwise, this photo is somewhat what I might have had to do. But I didn't really want this look, and when I showed him, he wrinkled up his nose.
