I like the bottom light. I think the top two would be harsh because of the clear glass shades.

I'm with tibbrix...the clear glass bulbs will be a harsher light.

In a bathroom people need light for make up/shaving. Fixtures that throw the light up on the ceiling or just glow light are not helpful if "guest" bath means someone could be dressing there.

I have the bottom one in our lakehouse bath, and one similar to the second one in our primary home guest bath. I like the bottom one very much, though it doesn't give off as much light as I'd want, but we have them on the side of the mirror rather than on top. The quality is acceptable, but doesn't have as much heft as I thought it would. I think arcy's description of "glow" is accurate.

I love the shades on my similar fixture like the second, which look like yours, and the quality is great, but, again, I don't know if they give off enough light for makeup. I don't use that bath, but I think our guests normally have to turn on the overhead light. I know I also do at the lake when I put on make-up. Yours may be different if used above the mirror. I would just suggest supplemental overhead lighting.
