The rails leading up to the door is wrong. The supports should be vertical, not on an angle. Fights with the semi circle deck. I would add patio doors framed in wood. Added overhang for visual interest. Out door seating area would increase living room/ entertaining area.

After looking at the picture again...the bottom deck could match the semi circle of the upper deck.

Thank you for your recommendations,they are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not clarifying several points.
The original brick front porch will be added and the ones that are in the picture ,i built myself and where intended for temporary use only.
The home was picked up and moved ..several blocks..9 years ago.
The home is a historical home and certain requirements must be strictly adhered to.
One of them being that the garage door must resemble a garage door even if the space within will not be utilized as such.
I agree the overhang directly above the garage door is completely wrong and was not the original and added on the house before the time of purchase.
Being that their are certain financial limitations ..this must be dealt with at a later time as it is functional .
