By any chance could you get it in 7 weeks? And would it be better to wait to get 2 pieces together so it matches better than buying one now and another later?

Unfortunately, 12 weeks is the absolute best we can do. The reason is because this furniture is manufactured by hand then shipped to Chicago from our factory in China. It is a long process that cannot be expedited.

The black ebony finish on this piece is very consistent so there should not be any variation if you order them separately. However, just to be sure, I will double check with our production manager and get back to you as soon as possible.

I have very good news. After consulting with our production manager in China, it looks like the lead time for this piece is only 8 weeks. Also, you do not need to worry about any variation if you order 1 now and another later.
