Are they getting light?

The sun shines on them for about four hours through a easterly window, I opened the bag to let out steam today it was very warm. I guess I will put a thermometer to see what temp the sun adds to the DVR

The room has very bright light all day. The room is about 77day and 67night with the dvr staying 85 the inside bags temp is about that.

It is warm and sunny out around 70, I did not take these out for the day. I thought they were to young.

Age just affects germination rate.

If your medium type lacks an organic component, it may grow slower. 70F is fine for outside, but filter sun 50% and keep wet for a bit.

The pic showed that yes my 10day babies are slow. Tiny and just broke through the soil. I tried putting my babies in more sun. Since it is a winter/spring sun. They loved it. At least I can see the tiny stem with leaves that are less then 1/2 size of a rice kernel,

I looked at my seedlings. After 12 days shouldn't there be the start of feeder root. They are as long as a quarter, They have green-ed up since they have more sun. Am I doing enough.

I know what you will say "leave them alone" :-)

Pictures would help. I wouldn't be touching the roots this early. My adenium seeds sprouted like normal vegetable seeds; growth was very rapid and small leaves were sprouting in days. I can only guess that your mix lacks an organic compound; your fungicide could also be the reason.

Should I 1/4 strength water them? The soil is very loose but damp. There is only what suspect is a start of a tap root. Not even a eye lash long. Could the soil be to loose? They green-d up

I tried to take a pic my camera broke (blast it). I will work on that

I have always had trouble starting seeds. My tomato's the same age are tiny also. At lest the obesum is thick for it's size.

Seeds were meant to be covered lightly. You should not be touching or seeing the root.

I did not get my camera up yet Sorry I think I should be able to post when Dinos plants get here.

My seedlings are now 15 days old and have not grown beyond the two first leaves. The soil is potting mix. Could change to coir. The little guys are only a half inch about down to the tap root. Nice average color even a slight caudex swell. They are slightly damp down along side them.

I have not looked at the roots though it is hard not to touch to see how the roots are growing

I am adding a grow light for night. Since it's to rain all week. They won't have their normal 10 full sun.

They are obesum. Any idea's on why they are slow?

I change the potting mix to coir, The light over night made them stand up. Not sure how long to use the light. When the sun bops out next week I will put them back in the sun and maybe the light at night. Not warm enough yet to leave outside overnight.
