A storm moved thru our county in south AL
And I decided to wait until the weather cleared.
However, I got out early and planted a bunch of
Cosmos beds around my Dragonfly pond in the
Back yard. The rain will have the seeds started
And that is now completed with flowers that all
My local butterflies come to as soon as they bloom.

That of course excludes red-spotted purples,
And others that don't nectar at flowers. I saw two
Beautiful Tiger swallowtails in the back yard at the
Bull thistle blooms, and the pair of red shouldered
Hawks were flying circles up high above the house.
They nest somewhere in the cypress swamp nearby.
