Yes, they will love the avocados. It's up to you if you want to add the pits. It seems some people do, but most don't.

Your worms will thank you........they love avocado! I add them to my bins whenever they get a bit too ripe. The peels take a long time to break down though, even when I chop them into much smaller pieces.

Since the peels become dry & start to curl up once they are (quickly!) cleaned of pulp, I generally end up removing them and then toss them into my outdoor compost bin where other big/rough stuff goes. Fauna out there more varied & numerous than in the worm bin so eventually they disappear out there.

Also, I usually add the pits to the bin since there is enough goodies for the worms to clean off, and then if I forget to fish it out, I one day remove the bin lid to find a fat avocado sprout has popped up! Either I pitch them or, like one last year, potted it up for the grandkids to enjoy watching it grow. There's a nice big bay window in their house facing west, so it can grow there happily for another couple of years as long as I pot it on a couple of times. Sadly, in central Ohio, it won't ever make it outdoors. Nice house plant, though.

My worms throw a party when I put rotten avocados in the bin. I swear I catch the disco lights coming out of the vent holes out of the corner of my eye.
