African Violets

Window films

My west window gets about 2 hours of direct sun. If I use clear UV window film, will that be enough to protect African Violets on the sill? Or do I need more opaque film in the visible wavelengths?
Can anyone recommend a window film to use? Considering Boss Static Cling, mosaic or frosted.

I think that if your light is after 3 pm...it is OK wirhout. Sheer curtains work too. I heard good and bad things about the film. I guess you need to try...
