Coral Point battered by rose thorns

TBs like to travel! This one has grown into a rose bush. The winds and thorns damaged the terminal flower. Do I poke a shovel in there or wait for it to grow out?

Coral Point - Sutton'00, HM'03, reliable bloomer, looking washed out pink due to camera operator.


It's a space-ager and actually more peachy than this.
