On quilts 2, 3 and 4, how wide are the bindings before sewing? They look like the size I would like to use. (I can't tell how wide they are on 1 and 5 because of the color.)

Bkay - I usually use 2-1/2" unfinished binding and double them over. On the last quilt, I used the "faux piping" method.. These are the instructions:

Faux Piping Binding

Accent Color – cut 1-3/4” wide

Regular Color – cut 1-1/2” wide

Sew together

For with wrong sides together matching raw edge

IRON

Stitch to the back of the quilt with the accent color facing
UP – ¼” seam

When you flip to the front the accent color is tiny

Top stitch in the ditch between the 2 colors
