3-D quilt finished for Brent's Place

Another finish (FINALLY!!!) for Brent's Place. 52x72. I saw several of these on Pinterest and thought I would give it a try. The striped sections are 7-1/2" square with the 2" black and then white sashing. All of the fabrics were from my stash, including the backing.

Wow! that is a really great way to do string blocks. I have spent some time this week trying to tame the leftovers and I have a good bin of strings. Super idea, Sue.

That’s a very cool quilt, Sue! I did a similar technique with a t shirt quilt, but it was more like the blocks were casting a shadow rather than looking like boxes.
