Hi there, for now we don't have a good way to undo this. You will have to clear your cookies on your web browser on your device. If you are using Safari on an iPhone or iPad, go to Settings>Safari>Clear cookies and data.

Hope that helps :)

Your suggestion does not work for me and this problem is driving me crazy. I use the Gmail app for my email and when I click on an article ina Houzz email it opens the Houzz app. I have to keep flicking between the 2 apps. I have cleared my safari cookies but as its not opening in safari, this had not effect. I can not work out how to clear the cookies for the gmail app. Please find a fix for this soon or I will stop bothering to read the Houzz emails because its just too much trouble.
Thanks Megan.

Hi Megan, Since that is a setting in your gmail app, your best bet is to delete it and reinstall it. (I couldn't locate something to clear the cookies on your gmail app, but if you can, that would work too.)

I just tested it. If you delete and reinstall the gmail app, the next time you open a Houzz email, it will ask you to choose to open it in the app or in the browser. Choose browser and check the box that saves that setting and you should be all set.

Thanks Emily. That worked. I just reinstalled the gmail app and all seems to be working fine now. My sanity is preserved. Thank you.

You are welcome. :)
