Red!

Red would definitely add pop. I think the two colors you're thinking about are a little too light. What about the Stratton Blue? Or a slate blue such as BM Hale Navy...

To be truthful, I don't think either of your choices would enhance the look of your home. I think the Waterscape is far too light and would fade away against the color of your home. The Wythe Blue, while being a bit darker and offering some contrast, clashes the with blue of your home and looks "off" for lack of a better word. I know red is a very popular choice as a front door color, I happen not to care for it because it has become so ordinary. Since your home is almost baby blue in color, I would look toward a warmer, richer color to show off your entry and warm up the large expanse of light blue. You would be surprised how a color you would consider unthinkable. can look so beautiful in contrast with the color of your home!

As I have looked over your home again, I'm wondering if perhaps what I thought was a "baby blue" on your home might be in fact a light gray-blue or blue-gray. Either way, my advice would be the same!

Thank you guys. The post is a few days old and I had already went ahead and painted it Waterscape. I was going for a soft cottage look. I know screens show differently, but the color of my siding is actually pale gray. I really like how it came out.

keako, your siding did look pale gray on my screen which is what made me think of a gray/blue door. I love the design of your door...one of my favorites. It looks nice...I think something a little darker might give the door/entry more presence. However, if you like it that's all that matters. I love your vision pic!
