I purchased 2 lovely fuchsia baskets from CVS about 2 months ago. I replanted them into coco-fiber lined baskets, and hung them on either side of my balcony. My balcony faces NE ish, so one side gets sun from about 8 when it passes over the courtyard till about 10:30-11, the other side gets no direct sunlight.
The one on the shaded side is doing fantastically well, however the one on that gets a couple hours of sun is quite sad. It's mostly stopped blooming, although it has a few small buds forming, but it has gotten very leggy and upright, and dropped a lot of it's central leaves. Anything I can do to help the second one out? Would it be better to select a different plant altogether, or maybe replace it with another fuchsia variety? I'd love to save it if possible.
If it helps to know, originally the sickly one was a bit larger and heavily in bloom, but had developed some seed pods I didn't notice till I got it home and deadheaded it. The second one didn't.
