I asked a similar question for a similar kitchen - I love white subway tile, but only when the grout is the same color (not darker, contrasting grout). We are going to do white subway with white grout in our kitchen, but I'm also concerned about the area behind the stove, as far as grease and other splatter from cooking, and discoloration of the grout. Have you run into this issue with your backsplash area behind the stove? Any ideas on how we can prevent it? I've heard epoxy grout just isn't worth it.
