Thrips on seedlings

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I am currently having a thrips issue in my house, and greenhouse. I had started some Mimosa pudica (sensitive plant), and Asclepias curassavica (tropical milkweed) seeds indoors, than realized I had a thripes problem. They found the seedlings and decimated them. I have some new seedlings started in the greenhouse, but I see a few thripes in the greenhouse now too. Can I spray the seedlings with insecticidal soap/neem oil or is this a bad idea? If so do I need to do anything different from spraying the mature plants? If not what can I do to protect them?
