I agree. It pays to check around. Recently a species with a misspelled name was offered on Ebay and its photo was not that of the so-called species.

I love it when that happens Joan. Many years ago I got outbid on a particular begonia when I was younger and braver (stupider)? I ran it up to maybe $30 which was ridiculous but I wanted to see how high it would go.

My friend in CA put me on to the same begonia a few days later from the same seller but because begonia was misspelled (bigonia I think is how the seller listed it) I got it for the opening bid.

I rarely ever bid on plants anymore on eBay. If I can't get it Buy Now then I will look elsewhere.

Why Are eBay Misspellings Valuable?
Sometimes eBay sellers goof when they list their auctions: they
