No regrets. Two large dogs and a very messy husband. A soapy dishrag and a good swipe, all is well.

My uppers are white laquer - I love the looks, and so easy to keep clean (even for this terrible housekeeper).

I am only 6 months in with my white cabinets but so far I am happy. It's a classic, timeless look and everyone compliments them. They make the kitchen look so bright. However - the one thing nobody told me is that with white cabinets, if there is any wood cracking or paint chipping (which happens with almost every brand due to humidity changes), it will be MUCH more obvious with white cabinets than with any other color wood. We already have a few areas with hairline cracks - nobody has noticed them but us and you can only tell if you are really looking closely - but still, this type of stuff is more easily hidden with darker wood cabinets.

7 years for us. Still love them.

I was told that if you will upset with the hairline cracks as Sasha describes, white cabinets are not for you. That said, I was given touch up paint and every now and then I use it. Again small things that no one else would notice.

My last 3 kitchens have been white. I like white cabinets with hardwood. Wood stain cabinets and hardwood floors can look well together, but you have to make sure the stains don't clash.

I have had white kitchens for years and my latest one is 6 years old. Still looks really good - no chips, no dinginess, no yellowing, nothing.

4 years. No regrets. The only damage has been caused by one of my cats, who stands on his hind legs and opens lower cabinets using his claws for purchase. I have a bunch of pinholes along the tops of the doors. He would have done this if they'd been any other color or stained. The price of having a cat.

love ours , a friend had off white french style and had a heck of a time finding anything to match. I live with two men who are both filthy greasy....so far I just have cleaned the cabinets around the knobs each night while I am cleaning it up. The white has allowed me a lot of freedom in choosing everything else for the kitchen

I've never had white cabinets, but my last kitchen was a light yellow. No issues at all. The only damage I had was on the island which was stained, not painted, and it was also kitty damage from a cat that got very excited about meal time.

I've had white kitchens in every house I've owned. I never grow tired of them and I wouldn't have any other color. I have four children who are mostly teenagers now and they have never caused an issue with the cabinets. When we sold our 15 year old house last year, we updated the lighting, knobs and appliances and the kitchen looked just like the kitchens people are putting in to similar houses today. I find that they are very easy to keep clean and fresh.

I don't. I certainly wipe splashes of food off them more often compared to the old oak cabinets. I shudder to think how filthy those must have been!

I've had my off-white cabinets for 3-4 years and white cabinets in other kitchens beforehand. Messy husband, three little ones, dogs, and a cat and aside from a few places with hairline cracks around the panels and a scratch from a rogue pan, all is well. I wipe off any spills I see every night while I'm cleaning up dinner and give them all a thorough wipe down every couple of weeks. No regrets.

I have mine for about a year and no regrets. Like others have said, I rather notice there are splashes so I can wipe right away! I also have white countertop and backsplash! Love it!

I'd rather see a splash or mess and clean it up while it's still easy. Don't get me started on dark counters. :)

Have white perimeters and a dark island. They show pretty much the same amount, to be honest. I have three young boys and 66 chickens. :)

I will let you know soon. I have only had dark cherry cabinets in our both of our homes. We now have a beach house with white cabinets. It's a totally different look for me when my regular home is much more formal.

Mine are 4-year-old factory-finished sprayed white from KraftMaid in Dove White with shaker doors. I have 3 active young kids and a dog. The only cab that has shown wear and tear ever so slightly is the trash drawer which is probably opened 50 times a day. NO regrets. I still love them and they still look new. I'm careful about cleaning them with just a damp dishcloth, no harsh cleaners and NO magic eraser which I think breaks down the finish because it's essentially fine grit sandpaper. I previously had painted white and those did not hold up well. They were pine and painted white but pine wood which tends to be soft. I think the factory finish spray is much smoother, durable finish then painting with a brush.

I have had white cabinets for a year. I don't regret it and they are easy to clean. My trash pull does have some nicks. There are a few other nicks too but don't think anyone would notice but me.

I've had white cabinets forever and have no regrets. We are going with Black cabinets this time (his choice).
