My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Stair and hallway carpets.

I would love to know where to get stair and hallway carpets. I need to get some made in dark brown with cream edging. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    If you have a good local carpet supplier we would recommend speaking to them first. They will be able to measure and provide an accurate quote (including installation if you need).

    You should be able to choose any suitable colour carpet that would be cut to size and the edges can be whipped in a wide variety of colours also.

    Can you tell me how the edges were attached to the main runner?

    Normally using a specialist machine, in this case the edge has been bound to the carpet runner.

    Since the border was not part of the actual runner, can the border come off with wear and tear?
