This is a new miniature rose for me, Peppermint Kisses that I purchased from For Love of Roses. The first bloom stayed in a tight little ball for the longest time and then fell open. I wonder if time or the weather will improve this. The plant grew vigorously and made a ton of buds in a spray. Even if I'm not crazy about the form, it will make an impact in the garden. The color is a candy stripe reddish pink, but my camera makes it a darker, hot pink. This is the first flush. I look forward to seeing what it can do in the future.
