By my interpretation of contemporary, option 2-pic 45 is best of the three. But, if you intend to use blues throughout the space then the first deserves more consideration.

I like both 43 and 45. I voted for 43 though. It seems like 45 or all white would make the room feel a bit too monochromatic.

The floor is a light grey tile, 60*60 cm, the same throughout the house and the patio. The appliances are stainless steel. The walls have not been painted yet, I am thinking white with a greyish hue. The doors and window frames are all white. I was thinking I would add color with wall hangings, the light fixtures over the island and fabrics. I was thinking about blue and orange as the accent colors.

I like 43 because I think your grey floors will complement the counter nicely.

I like the fact that the vote is split! It means that either choice wuld be acceptable

If option 45 has they texture shown, I'd stay away from it. Looks like cleaning nightmare!

Lisa, both countertops are smooth actually.

I am in the US and my parents and brother are overseeing the project in Greece, and send me pictures. They had initially sent me the textured surface for cabinets, but we are doing smooth, But those are the only pictures of the countertops I have.

Sorry! I thought the cabinet sample was a countertop sample! The first 2 look nice. The second choice looks more neutral and could give you more options down the line. If you love blue and won't get tired of it, go for it!
