Hareball, I'm glad you are getting responses on the Rose Forum. I agree with the comment that disease resistance improves when the plant matures. Also, I've never been very good with pots. Nutrients wash away quickly if it's well draining and the plant gets too much water if not. Even though it limits how many roses I can grow, I have them in the ground. There are many people here that do well with pots, so maybe I'll get the hang of it one day.

If you have space for Gigi in the ground, I think she is well worth the garden space. Even though she's a florist mini, I like her better than my registered "show" roses. She had a rough start with spider mites her first year, but is doing great now. I hope yours will do the same.

I feed my roses pretty often. Diluted liquid feed. They are doing well :)

I'm still trying to figure out if I want to plant roses in my two beds or not. If so Gigi will go in :) I love your Gigi she looks so happy. I drilled a few more holes in the pot and will move her to a spot to get more sun to help dry up some of the moisture. :)
