We just built a new modern mid century home. We have been looking for a light to put over our small bar area and this light is perfect. A few questions. I've read you can order without the chain, I would do that as we prefer a cleaner look.

We didn't plan on lighting up the bar, so it is not wired in,

1. Can we order the light as a direct plug in to a wall outlet?

2. Is it possible to order one with a 12 foot cord?
