It depends on the tile. A reasonably skilled tile setter can often create a finished bullnose edge on site from your field tile. I am not a fan of schluter....sorry

Gerry, I hope you are still following this forum. Now that the Schluter strip is a few months old, do you still love it? Does it scratch easily?

Personal preference. Can look great in ultra modern installs or where you want hard lines. Too harsh if you're going for a classic or old-world tile look. Personally I hate it. I have a tile setter who apparently can't set tile without it and it's totally detracting from the beautiful tile we've chosen.
