Beautiful house and view! Just to clarify, what kind of stairs are they? Spiral straight. Where do you want them to come up to? If you don't want to block the view at all, I woukd suggest placing the stairs on the left, immediately to the right of the window.

ajrmcr, thanks for the advice. Yes, I don't want to block the view. I was thinking of putting the stairs on the right as you're looking out toward the fire place. It will be a U shape stair case.

liserb1357, thanks for commenting. That would be a good idea, but the stair case would block the view from the master bedroom. : /

My vote is for the firehouse pole or slide. ;) Might have to convince any dog(s) or cat(s) to put up with needing to be backpacked up and down though.

I would put it to the right of the deck as you are facing towards the house, with the stairs running away from the house:

I don't believe it would block any of your views and it would fit in nicely.

Unfortunately, there's not enough room for a door to the right of the porch (when looking at the house) for the way y'all have drawn in the stairs. It would have to be located along the wall with the fireplace, which would block the view.

Awesome house and setting. So then you need to come up under the deck to the left of the fireplace with a spiral, no door.

Then have a narrow landing running along that functions as a walkway to the stairs. Install glass rails to keep it minimally invasive for the site lines. Or simply have no deck access at all.
