Thanks! The counters are Viscont White granite. It's also called Silver Cloud. Here is a view of the island from the day it was installed.

I found a few spots last night that I think I might need to have him re-do for spacing and tiles not quite flush with the ones next to it. I hate confrontation, so wish me luck. I just don't know when I'm being TOO picky sometimes. DH says he doesn't see the issues. Dude can pick an out of tune Oboe out of his 100 piece orchestra but can't see the spacing differences <eyeroll>

We also cleaned Arizona Tile out of this color last week and they weren't expecting more until the end of this week so if the tiles don't come off without damage we may be delayed a bit. I will keep you posted!

The tile guy was totally professional about the problem tiles. His brother was working on the section I took issue with yesterday and he wasn't there today so that made it easier to point out the problems. He pried off about 20 tiles without damaging any of them but consequently that section of the backsplash isn't dry yet so he only grouted half. However, I LOVE it!

Thank you, thank you! I am really thrilled with the way it turned out. When I asked for advice here a few months ago I had a suggestion or two for glass tile but I didn't really consider it until DH brought it up a couple of weeks ago.

I'm just so glad I found a way for the backsplash to stand out without overtaking my awesome granite.

I'm waiting for some final details - curtains for the slider, shades for the other windows and some art I ordered for the walls - and then I will take pics of the whole kitchen for a reveal.
