Thank you katalea. Myth is a hyrid tea from LudwigsRoses. That is its first bloom and the bloom looks almost like Osiria but very healthy. I adore it. The pot is a 20" W x 17" H plastic pot. Helen

Oh Helen, what gorgeous photos! I know I'm not alone in lusting after Stranger, and hooray for so many shots of Olivia Rose - I've been wondering about that one a lot - what is your experience so far?

Yes, Sharlene. Thanks to Beth for showing it in one of her awesome posts. When I saw it I told myself if I could only have one rose from her garden I would pick Stranger. Helen

Thanks redwolfdoc. I ordered two bare root Olivia Austin Rose from Regan nursery early this year and put them in 20" W x 17" H plastic pots and they have been very healthy and I like their blooms. They just have a soft fragrance now but I think the fragrance will get stronger as the roses mature. I couldn't smell anything on Scepter'd Isle in the first year and now its fragrance is strong and very nice. Helen

Beautiful roses Helen!! My STRANGER still hasn't bloomed yet this yr. Love that rose. OMG I knew I should've ordered OLIVIA ROSE AUSTIN. What a beauty!!

Hey Elvi are you in the USA? Ludwigs is also in Phoenix, AZ. I also got what Ludwigs calls "MYTH" .... which in the florist industry it's called "MYRTHE." In fact, if you look on HMF, they don't even list "MYTH" as a synonym for MYRTHE. The codename is SPEgyrthe. It's a Jan Spek rose. I was thrilled to see them offering it, because I tried to root cuttings but they didn't work. I hope it gets the darker burgundy shade that the florist stems had. It'll be fun to compare it throughout the yr.

Elvi, it is no problem. I am glad you like them. Helen

Irisgal, ORA blooms in my garden are just white with beautiful pink center.

Beth, talking about only one rose in your garden, which one would you pick?

You are an outstanding photographer, and the detail and true color of your photos are phenomenal. I so enjoyed seeing all of these roses portrayed so beautifully, especially Olivia Rose Austin, which I'll be planting in a few days. Do you mind if I ask what kind of camera you use? I'm going to be getting a new one in the next couple of months, and the choices are mind boggling. Diane

Thank you Diane. My camera is a Canon T5i. It has a touch screen so it is very user friendly. Helen

Helen, I'm just swooning over your pics of Olivia Rose Austin. My bare root was planted just a couple weeks ago, so all I have to stare at are some little red leaves that have poked their noses out. Can't wait to see if m Olivia blooms as beautifully as yours does.

    Kate

Thank you Kate. With your talent as a rose grower, your Olivia rose will be even more beautiful than mine :) Helen
