Stainless seams to be preferred by my clients. Clients report that with a little elbow grease they can always get it back to new no matter what stains it. It is low cost, easy on you pans, ceramic and glassware and you know if it is clean. We put vehicle sound dampening sticky mats on the bottom to control sound. Don't waste time scrubbing hard water stains just wipe on vinegar instead. If you have hard water vinegar is your friend for all sinks and faucets. My clients have disliked the copper sinks they purchased because they didn’t like the patina change. A few of my clients like their soapstone sinks but they complain a little that they cannot tell if they are really clean like you can see with stainless. Cast iron is nice but the ceramic gets worn down if they get scoured a lot and they are hard on your pans, ceramic and glasses. I prefer stainless also for my own home.
