I ha a small back yard that buts up against a think, wooded strip of trees. My yard gets some sun in the morning but when the trees gets their leaves then it is more shade. It used to be lush but over the years the grass has thinned out, and moss has slowly been over taking it. I should have done something before now but need to get on it. I have read some about moss issues, liking shade and acidic soil, especially with poor grass coverage. I could pay someone to do this but want to tackle it myself. Any suggestions how I can go about this on a budget expense-wise? Oh, I live in northeast Indiana with a heartiness zone of 5b or 5a- Fort Wayne looks to be more in the 5a region if this helps.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
