Kitchen cabinet color

Last week I posted for an opinion, and now that I have my counter top in, would love an opinion on the cabinets. Keep as is, or paint? If so, suggestions on color? I like two toned, and will be adding the below custom built cabinet. Would love contrasting. I will likely be doing the painting with the my husband....I love whites and grays.

I have narrowed the back splash down to Bianco white subway or dove gray subway, but waiting to figure this out.

Nice kitchen!

I would paint the cabinets and get some updated hardware.

With either backsplash two color cabinets will work.
Since you love contrasts I would go with the cream you have and do either a greige or a deep black with slight distressing for your other cabinets. Both combinations

The cream colored island works very well with the granite. Why not paint the cabinets that color.

You were so determined to paint your cabinets. Seeing the granite in place I rather like the cabinets as they are. Are you reconsidering? What does your husband think? I am still not a fan of gray for the island or new cabinet. There are many nice shades of white. I am tempted to say leave the cabinets as they are, but this is a very dark room. I think last time you had considered painting just the uppers. Is that still an option? It is looking very nice.
