It is a delicate marble. It is all about what things you are comfortable with. If you are ok with stains, scratches and the natural patina that will take place then there is no problem with this marble... they have been using marbles like this for centuries in Italy. However, if you want it to always look like the day you bought it then you need to steer clear of this marble even in the bathroom as a countertop.

Or maybe use a porcelain slab product that looks the same, it doesn’t stain or burn.
