Where is it growing geographically?

I believe that is Ligustrum japonicum - Waxleaf privet.

greendream has gone AWOL. Until we know where this is growing and get the chance to ask additional questions we can't tell what it is for certain.

BTW it isn't Privet because it is alternate, not opposite.

Oooo, good eye. I tried, but couldn't make out enough to really tell the leaf position. Oh, well, maybe we'll get more info.
