I'm on the Central Coast. I always use the USPS priority (not the guaranteed expensive one) when I order from Gardino. Most of my orders have arrived in 3 days, some in 2 days. I've had no problem. I love Gardino Nursery. I think you will too!

Ditto to what themockturtle says. I order from Gardino's on the reg and always use USPS Priority, most packages come in 2-3 days (and I'm on the western tip of WA state). Can't beat their awesome packaging either!

I've never had a problem with a plant being in bad shape for at least several years. I buy mostly from ebay sellers, and some arrive in 2 days, some in 4, and they all look none the worst for wear. I also watch the weather, and I don't order if it will get into the 40s here at night, although I HAVE done that, and they arrived in great shape. I always order USPS priority too. Sometimes the P.O. will damage boxes, but so far, my plants have never gotten the brunt of it.

I had one order from Gardinos that was held up in the post office in FL. If I remember correctly it ended up being about 6 days before I received the package (in winter). I was freaking out because those heat packs only last a few days. When the package finally arrived the plants were fine. Thank goodness,. That was my first experience with Gardinos. It was totally the post office's fault (I found a lot of bad reviews on line that indicated that one hub was notorious for holding packages).

i think I ordered again with USPS with no problems but lately use Fed Ex and I get the order (in NC) within 2 days. I've ordered from some sellers on eBay also, and have had some issues with the plants but not delivery. The best plants I've rec'd are from aurorawa, tawny and Gardinos.

I do have to say, any problems I've had with eBay, the sellers have been great with their customer service.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I went ahead and placed the Gardino's order via USPS, and they've already put it in the mail to me, so very happy with them so far!

Great advice all - they got here on Thursday (2 days in transit), the plants look great and they included a freebie! Once I prove to myself that I can keep hoyas happy, I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks everyone!
