DuraSeal has many products associated to the name. One being a wood floor finish...the other being a concrete sealant...

To be clear, "dry time" for wood floor finishes is NOT the same as "cure time". Dry time is the time it takes for it to be dry enough to stand on it in socks. It is often the "recoat time" as well.

And to be doubly clear, the "amount of coats" per day is the same whether the "dry time" is 2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours...you are only allowed 2 coats per day...and many floors require 3 coats.

The "dry time" is what floor finishers are interested in. The "cure time" is what HOMEOWNERS are interested in. Most water based finishes have a cure time of 7-10 days....before you can "move in". As you can see, that "dry time" vs. "cure time" is a MASSIVE difference. The floor finisher will only care about "dry time". As a homeowner you will need to know about the cure time.
