It is very difficult to compare the material packages that are offered by any two or three of the 750 log home companies in the USA and Canada ... but you can try.

Your objective is to quantify Price, Quality of Material and Service. Price is easy. Quality of Materials and Service are subjective in many cases.

One solution is to request a material package quote or initial estimate that shows in detail what is in "your" package. The ask for a list of what is NOT in the material package.

A turnkey estimated price, say $150 or $200 per square foot, depends on "your" tastes and "your" geographic area. This estimate may NOT take into account your specific selection of finishing materials, beer or fine wine. Add porches, decks and garages to that estimate.
