We have a tiny, single level 2 bedroom 1 bath house with 900 square feet. With our two kids it is feeling a little too small. I was thinking of expanding south (left side) and also adding one more room on the north side to make it more even and extend the porch (you can see the blue foam insulation peeking from where there used to be an exterior door in our master bedroom). However, the kitchen is on the south side. Do I move the kitchen with the expansion or forego windows in my kitchen? What other design elements could I add to enhance this old house? Dormer Windows? More arches? Paint the brick? Thanks! (Pic isn't great. Can include more if needed).
