Going to be a while longer here - we have had two nights with bad frost which has taken it's toll on the new growth:(((

Thank you, Sharlene! I hate those late frosts! Francis Meilland is a great rose, mine is improving on bloom production, so I'm liking it more, I know it's not always stingy, so I believe it's a good rose in every way, beauty, fragrance, and lasts for days, bush is very disease resistant.

Thanks for the kind words Sara! I hope my roses recover quickly. It was sunny today and there is quite a bit of the new growth that has already gone crispy! I think I will be able to see the full extent of the damage tomorrow. It is so disheartening but they will bounce back and bloom - just a little bit later. I do, however, still have Blue Gene in a pot under roof and it is full of buds!!!

My favs are Pink Peace, Paradise, Firefighter and Frances Meilland!! Pink Peace has a lovely silvery tone to the edges of the petals. I love that look - it's so unique!!

Thanks again everyone! FM is a special rose IMO. Liebeszauber is a bloomin' machine and does put out huge blooms. I love Paradise, it has lots of buds on it too. Carol, my Pink Peace blooms are as lovely as usual this year, but the first flush wasn't nearly as prolific as normal, a little disappointed, but hopefully it will do its thing during the second flush.

Thank you Beth and Dan! Beth , it seems to be fairly resistant, not 100 percent, but better than most. It was new last year and I was disappointed with the color, but this year it's more like what I was expecting, it seems to be a vigorous grower. Dan, I do like variety.
