I bought kirkii 'Coppertone' from Thai grower and it arrived fine. Long shipping time though. Buy something hardy! lol

I wonder if it's better to buy them during the winter months when they're dormant? Good to know - I guess it's always best to check with the regs and whatever State rules on imports there are (I'm in a high agricultural state so they're strict here).

Most of the Thai growers live off of their reputation. I know a lot of people that have ordered from them and were very happy with their plants.

Also, I've seen some Thai growers say specifically they will not ship to CA.

I would assume that's because they ship with soil. As long as the plant is bare root and not on the CITES listz it can be shipped to CA. Some growers don't want to take the time to unpot their plants.

Beautiful plants. I too would be worried about long shipping times. It must work though, they're in business. And with the free certificate, I'd think they do alot of business here. Something to consider because those are gorgeous plants and the shipping cost isn't bad.
