I wanted to include one shot of the park. A beautiful sequoia tree with California poppies in the foreground.

If you look closely, there's a cat sleeping in the center of the bench. He was our guide during our visit but he needed a rest after a busy morning of meeting and greeting public.

Anne - what a treat!

Most often show gardens have 'en masse' plantings for which most of us don't have the space. It is great to see that mixing can also be stunning. Midnight Blue and Julia Child are amazing next to each other.

I have stumbled over the Marin Rose Society website before but somehow overlooked the link to their garden. They have a lot of information on growing roses and it is a great source of information.
