That carpet is indeed a tiled product - Tandus Glacial Striae 04370. It's a commercial product that we used in this basement because it's robust and can withstand heavy kids' play. It's also a little firmer than most residential carpet and therefore makes an excellent gym floor as well.

It's got a really interesting pattern that we had not been able to replicate in a residential carpet. Highly recommended!

One additional benefit is that if there's a spill/stain that you just can't remove, it's easy to replace a single tile. Just order a few more than you need and keep them on hand.
