Something about those leaves makes me think - Croton (a high light tropical house plant). Crotons are known, however, for tough (like a magnolia), veined, patterned and blotched foliage. There may be a green/red variety, 'tho.

You might show the picture to the people at Roxbury and see if they can ID it.

Yeah, I took a photo into Roxbury since that was where it was purchased. They were just as clueless as I. I will research Croton in the hopes that this might be the plant! Thank you!
