I can't name it but I'm pretty sure it is a weed. P malacoides is a choice evergreen perennial and can't compete with a vigorous weed. The latter needs to come out asap.

Thanks Floral. I suspected weed. P.malacoides is only an annual here. And not offered much. Days of the pony pacs of it are long gone.

Semantics ..... P malacoides remains botanically a perennial wherever it is grown. But can be treated as an annual in cold climates. If you bring it inside in the winter it will survive if you have a cool light spot for it. Often grown as house plants here.
