Cane begonias are usually very easy to take care of. Bright light and water as needed (do not keep sopping wet or totally dry in other words) and you will have a great plant. The only issue I have with canes are some can be attacked by mildew in cooler temps. Spray with a fungicide before bringing indoors (if you grow them outside in warmer months) and you should be good to go. Growing under lights will also reward you with great foliage and usually blooms (some require tons of bright light to bloom if at all) when it is ready.

I am not an expert. The best advice I have recieved for canes is not to over pot and only water when soil feels dry one inch down. Wait for it becomes visibly dry. I almost watered my begonia to death until I started following this advice.
