How often do you run a drip irrigation systm?

I made a drip irrigation system for my tomato plants. Most of my tomatos are planted in 5Gal containers. I know the frequency of watering varies by location. I have 1GPH emitters in each container. I have a timer system that is programmable, Anyways, any thoughts
