Adding a wood-look porcelain tile might be the texture you need to warm up the space. Staying in the grey/charcoal family is the best choice. Marble flooring is classic, however. You'll need to decide what you desire for the finished look of the space.

Thx, that's the problem I'm having deciding between the two. If I do the wood look is it trendy? Or the marble, although its timeless is it too much upkeep?

Is the wood look classic as well, or will it be?

Thank you

Not sure if the wood look is trendy. There's no good reason to put wood - real wood - ever - in a bath. But if you "like the look", the option is the wood look tile or vinyl. Tile is better. Marble is classic; but if you're tough on your floors, hairspray, toothpaste and other "things" that can pit/stain that floor, then, don't do it. If not, it's a beautiful, timeless choice that will last through all trends. Don't have a clue what the rest of your house looks like to advise better. Because if one room looks totally different from the rest, then, again, not good, unless you intend to change your rooms down the road when you can, financially, and bring the house together. Hope this helps.
